Thai adults (20 and over) apply for a new biometric e-passport, because Thai e-passports cannot be renewed; apply when under six months of validity remain or after loss or expiry. The applicant must attend in person for biometrics and the name must match the Thai house registration.
Where to apply in Australia
Royal Thai Embassy, 111 Empire Circuit, Yarralumla ACT 2600, which serves the whole of Australia for these services (online booking; hours Mon-Fri 8:30-16:30). Also offered at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Sydney.
Canberra books through its online portal and accepts walk-ins with bookings prioritised; Sydney's passport page does not mention booking. Sydney's page lists AUD 60 only.
Contact details for every office are on the page of the embassy and consulates of Thailand.

Good to know
Sydney's separate adult/minor/monk requirement pages were not read. No publication date is shown on the Canberra or Sydney pages used.
