A one-way travel document valid three months for Nepali nationals without a valid passport who must travel to Nepal urgently. Same-day issue is possible if lodged in person.

How to apply
Download and complete the TD form | assemble photos, copies and any valid passport | pay | submit in person (9:30-12:30) and collect 15:30-17:00, or post with a prepaid return envelope
Documents you need
- Completed TD form
- Two identical recent passport photos
- Original passport if valid
- Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate and passport
- For newborns: parents' citizenship certificates and passports plus baby's birth certificate
Fees and processing time
- Official fee: AUD 75 (travel document page) or AUD 60 (another embassy page)
- Other charges: EFTPOS surcharge 1.10%
Processing time: Same day in person; about 3-7 working days by post (pages differ).
