Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina living abroad more than three months (or for less if their passport expired or was lost or damaged) apply in person at the embassy for a biometric passport. A personal identification number (JMB) must already be registered in the central database.
Where to apply in Australia
Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 5 Beale Crescent, Deakin (Canberra, ACT), for all of Australia (also New Zealand and several Pacific states). Documents are lodged with the embassy, mostly by post.
The honorary consulate in Sydney is listed in the DFAT data but its website was not read, so no services are recorded for it. The Sydney (NSW) consulate's own site (bihconsulatesydney.com) lists no consular services and refers applicants to the embassy's consular pages; all applications go to Canberra.
Contact details for every office are on the page of the embassy and consulates of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
