A public power of attorney drawn up at the consulate lets someone in Brazil act on your behalf, for example for marriage, property or inheritance matters where Brazilian law requires a public deed. Second copies, revocations and templates are also available.

Where to apply in Australia

Consulate-General of Brazil in Sydney (6/45 Clarence Street, Sydney NSW), which runs itinerant consulates in other cities; the Embassy in Canberra and honorary consuls are also listed. Check the consulate's jurisdiction page for your state.

Contact details for every office are on the page of the embassy and consulates of Brazil.
