The embassy provides notarial certificates such as witnessing a signature, certifying copies, certifying the content of a document and certificates of existence, for documents to be used in Finland. It cannot issue Apostilles.

Contact the embassy and book an appointment, then sign or confirm your signature before the officer

Good to know
Two embassy fee pages give different AUD conversions for the same EUR fees (e.g. passport EUR 235 shown as AUD 384 and AUD 381) and neither shows an effective date; fees are paid in AUD at the Ministry's exchange rate, by Eftpos/Visa/MasterCard only. Australian public documents need an Apostille from DFAT; Finnish missions cannot issue one. Individual notarial pages (copy certification, translations) were not read.
