Foreigners and some people of Pakistani origin apply for a Pakistan visa through the national online visa portal. Paper applications are no longer taken, apart from a paper route for Indian nationals.
Where to apply in Australia
High Commission in Canberra for residents of the ACT, WA, QLD and NT; Consulate-General in Melbourne for SA, TAS and VIC; Consulate-General in Sydney for NSW. Consular camps are held in other cities (for example Queensland).
Apply only via the NADRA visa portal (visa.nadra.gov.pk); Indian nationals/Indian-origin applicants use a paper application at the consulate with an AUD 5 processing fee by EFTPOS (Sydney page). Sponsors must complete PAKID biometric verification.

Apply on visa.nadra.gov.pk | choose the right category (it cannot be changed) | upload documents online (post, fax and email not accepted) | pay by card | attend an interview if called. Sponsors in Pakistan must complete biometric verification in the PakID app.
