- Birth certificate (for people born in Eritrea)People born in Eritrea and living abroad can request a birth certificate through the consulate using a registration form and any available birth documentation.
- National ID card - new, adultAdults born to an Eritrean father and/or mother can apply for an Eritrean National ID through the consulate by sending a checklist and documents with payment.
- National ID card - replacement (old ID held or lost)Holders of an existing Eritrean National ID can replace it, with a lower fee when the old card is still available and a higher one plus recovery-tax clearance if it was lost.
- National ID card - underage (new or re-issue)Parents of Eritrean children under 18 can obtain an underage ID; re-issue is only for a changed passport or a lost ID.
