Seychellois living abroad renew their biometric passport (issued since November 2022) by sending a copy of the current or expired passport to Immigration for verification. Biometric enrolment is done at a designated station and the passport is produced in Victoria.
Where to apply in Australia
No resident Seychelles mission in Australia (the High Commission accredited to Australia is based abroad). Applications go by post and email to the Immigration and Civil Status Department in Victoria, Seychelles; the page names diaspora@mfa.gov.sc (Foreign Affairs Department) as the contact for Australia and Canada residents.
Contact details for every office are on the page of the embassy and consulates of the Seychelles.
How to apply
Contact the Foreign Affairs diaspora desk for Australia | send a copy of your current or expired passport (children also a birth certificate) to Immigration for verification | complete biometric enrolment at the designated station | pay by bank transfer | passport is couriered to the embassy or high commission and collected by appointment

Good to know
Official page ics.gov.sc has no date; fee table uses the narration code DICS2024, suggesting a 2024 schedule, so fees may have changed. Overseas passports are couriered to the relevant embassy or high commission and collected by appointment there, but the page does not name the mission for Australia.
