Seychellois abroad whose passport is lost, stolen or damaged obtain a report and send it with an ID to Immigration to be issued a replacement, at a higher fee that includes a penalty.

Where to apply in Australia

No resident Seychelles mission in Australia (the High Commission accredited to Australia is based abroad). Applications go by post and email to the Immigration and Civil Status Department in Victoria, Seychelles; the page names diaspora@mfa.gov.sc (Foreign Affairs Department) as the contact for Australia and Canada residents.

Contact details for every office are on the page of the embassy and consulates of the Seychelles.

How to apply

Get a report from the nearest police station, embassy, high commission or consular mission | send the report and a form of ID to the Immigration passport section | enrol biometrically and pay by bank transfer | collect via the mission

Fees and processing time

Processing time: About three weeks after enrolment.

Good to know

Official page ics.gov.sc has no date; fee table uses the narration code DICS2024, suggesting a 2024 schedule, so fees may have changed. Overseas passports are couriered to the relevant embassy or high commission and collected by appointment there, but the page does not name the mission for Australia.
