Slovak citizens living in Australia or New Zealand apply for a biometric Slovak passport. It is produced in Slovakia and sent to the Consulate-General, so delivery depends on shipping.
Where to apply in Australia
Consulate-General of the Slovak Republic, Level 15, 179 Elizabeth Street, Sydney NSW; the Sydney post serves Australia-wide (the Embassy in Canberra has no separate consular counter listed on the pages used). Appointments for in-person matters are held only on the Consulate-General's counter days.
Honorary consulates (Brisbane, Ferntree Gully VIC, West Perth) are listed in the national register; the Sydney pages only say an honorary consul in Australia can verify signatures for use in Slovakia. No other service is described as available at honorary posts.
Contact details for every office are on the page of the embassy and consulates of Slovakia.
How to apply
Email the Consulate-General to book an appointment | attend in person (facial photo, fingerprints and signature are captured; children under 12 are exempt from fingerprints) | pay the fee in cash AUD | collect in person or ask for courier or prepaid registered-post delivery at your cost (applicants over 15)
